Ben, four years old and living with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, adores Batman and has been asking to meet him ever since his parents showed him a picture of the Dark Knight and told him about his famous feats.

He couldn't believe his luck when his all time greatest hero made a surprise guest appearance at his recent birthday party in Camberley! The famous Bat symbol was beamed up in lights onto the wall, heralding the dramatic entrance of Ben’s hero in a puff of smoke.

Ben barely left his favourite superhero's side for the rest of the party!

Hundreds of children will turn to Make-A-Wish this year to have their special wish granted.
