Joey

Fervent Thomas fan Joey, from West Bromwich and living with an incurable genetic disorder called Metachromatic Leukodystrophy, had a fun-filled day at Drayton Manor Theme Park in Staffordshire, home of the Thomas Land™ attraction.

He travelled to the park in a stretch limo and was personally greeted by the Fat Controller, who gave Joey and his family VIP passes to all the rides before accompanying them on a tour of the park and at last introducing Joey to Thomas.

Joey’s mother Terri said: “Joey has been so excited about his wish and when the limo arrived outside this morning he couldn’t stop dancing!”

Hundreds of children will turn to Make-A-Wish this year to have their special wish granted.
